Spa Day Mom

Homemade Citrus & Lavender Hand Scrub

If your Mom loves a day-at-the-spa no doubt she will appreciate this homemade body scrub.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup (125 mL) granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup (60 mL) coconut oil
  • 10 drops of orange essential oil
  • 5 drops lavender essential oil

Directions

Place all ingredients in a small mixing bowl. Using your finger tips, mix all ingredients together (mix while rubbing it between your finger tips. I find this is the easiest way to combine the ingredients). Place the mixture into a small mason jar. Tie with ribbon and gift to mom.

Uses: This is the perfect scrub to use on dry & tired hands, and/or after chopping foods such as onions and/or garlic. The sugar acts as an exfoliant to scrub away scents, while the oil moisturizes.

Long-Weekend-S’mores-Loving-Mom:
