I recently had the absolute pleasure of sitting down with the fabulous ladies (well, Christine Bentley – Kate was off on a well deserved vacation!) of What She Said and sharing my weight loss story. My #1 goal when sharing this story – is to inspire. It’s been almost 14 years since I took those first steps – and truthfully, I still pinch myself. Never in a zillion years…..would the once 200 lbs plus me, believe that one day I’d: complete a half Ironman, countless half & full marathons, write for Running Room Magazine or share my story with an audience(s). Those first steps, literally change my life. If I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again…and again…and again: “If I can do it, YOU can too!!”.
